About

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but raised in Charlotte, and am happy to call North Carolina home. I am a proud Mountaineer as I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in psychology from Appalachian State University. During my graduate program, I became interested in the intersection of psychology and the law and began exploring future careers in the legal field. I currently attend the University of North Carolina Law School with anticipation of receiving my Juris Doctorate in 2020. With an academic background and training in psychology, I understand the mental and emotional challenges clients face when navigating the divorce process. I look forward to supporting clients and protecting their legal rights to assist them in establishing their new direction in life.

When Courtney is not busy with law school, she enjoys exploring the triangle, trying out new restaurants, and catching up with friends.
