Chris is a native of North Carolina, born and raised in Benson. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he double-majored in Political Science and Communications. He then graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Law and returned to North Carolina to join a law firm in Harnett County.
Chris’s early practice encompassed a broad range of legal areas, including family law, criminal defense, civil litigation, competency proceedings, juvenile defense, veteran’s treatment courts, and cases against the Department of Social Services. Upon joining the New Direction Family Law team, Chris has dedicated his practice exclusively to family law where he finds fulfillment in guiding clients through the legal process from the initial consultation to trial. His regular practice includes Wake, Durham, and Johnston Counties.
