Cameron Heinsohn was raised on the coast of North Carolina before relocating to the Triangle area and attending UNC-Chapel Hill. After twenty years in the hospitality industry, she found a second home in the legal industry. She began her second career in legal and joined a boutique estate planning and corporate law firm to assist them with revamping their processes and workflows.
After two decades in the hospitality industry, she embraced a new challenge in the legal field, bringing with her a deep commitment to exceptional client care. Cameron’s initial work at a boutique estate planning and corporate law firm involved modernizing workflows and processes, which allowed her to merge her technical expertise with her passion for creating positive client experiences.
With a strong background in customer relationship management (CRM), Cameron excels in data analysis, measurable metrics, and automation. Her unique ability to combine technical skills with her extensive experience in service, operations, and sales allows her to focus on delivering a personalized, client-centered approach to her work at New Direction Family Law.

Cameron’s hospitality background has given her the privilege of supporting clients through some of life’s most significant milestones. While the practice of family law can often be stressful, Cameron is committed to making every client feel heard, understood, and empowered. She finds her role in helping families navigate sensitive matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and parental rights incredibly rewarding. Community Involvement
As a long-time member of the Triangle community, Cam has a passion for supporting local non-profits. She has been involved with The March of Dimes, The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man and Woman of the Year campaign, and several others.
She also actively looks for opportunities to serve her local professional organizations and is a member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and helps lead the Legal Marketing Association’s Local Steering Committee in Raleigh.
When not driving the marketing and business development efforts at New Direction Family Law, Cameron enjoys pursuing her passions. She competes in Schutzhund with her two Doberman Pinschers, Dutch and Lyra, and relishes time spent exploring whiskey, traveling, and experimenting in the kitchen.
