Kelsi Ernst, Legal Assistant
From the first phone call, to the resolution of the case, I’m here to help clients move through the process and make sure no question goes unanswered
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kelsi moved to North Carolina to attend Appalachian State University and graduated with a Bachelors in International Criminal Justice in 2014. While at Appalachian State, she was a member of the Appalachian Student Chapter of the American Correction Association and interned at the Twelfth Circuit Solicitor’s office in Florence, South Carolina. At the Solicitor’s office, Kelsi worked extensively with coordinating files, communicating with witnesses and assisting in day to day tasks in a local law office, where she grew to love the Courthouse atmosphere. It was during her senior year in college that Kelsi first developed an interest in family law. As a firsthand witness to the contentious and emotional turmoil of her parents’ divorce, Kelsi also began studying family law in her academic curriculum. Through simultaneous academic and personal experiences, her interest in family law flourished. Kelsi quickly realized she wanted to help people going through domestic situations and help them move forward to a better and stronger place in their lives.
Kelsi has loved North Carolina from the moment she arrived in 2010. After college, she moved to Raleigh and has found home in this wonderful city. She is currently enrolled in the Paralegal Certificate Program at Meredith College. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, and loving on her fur baby, Dixie.
